I was introduced to baking about the age of 12 by my mother and grandmother. My mother taught me to make pies and my grandmother shared her bread recipe. but it wasn't until my life included my husband (and best friend), andy, that i realized my real passion for cooking and baking. andy and I would have "date nights" that were time spent in the kitchen together creating recipes and preparing simple food with fabulous flavor. andy is the impetus for "andy's sweet jalapeno mustard". I believe that you can experience enjoyable food when it is prepared from the heart.
